Beautiful sea view. Great breakfast (12$). Safe parking ($15 reserve). Friendly staff. But: small room. Hike (10-15 min) to old town.

Great hotel overlooking the beach
Great hotel in a good position on the sea front. Room booked had a sea view which was lovely. Room very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Booked on-site parking space that was secure and convenient. Would stay here again.

A Happy Anniversary
A two-night stay with my wife for our wedding anniversary. We had 2 dogs which were accepted with no problem. Excellent staff, particularly at reception, who were all very friendly and helpful. Room on 3rd floor, accessible by lift or stairs. Buffet breakfast is good value compared to local cafe's, etc. On-site parking at rear of hotel should be booked in advance.

Disappointing
In general was only OK and probably we wont come back. Problems started with the check-in when I was presenting my Vax documents from 2 countries EU + French booster. In FR there is a huge issue of not recognizing the EU documents. Lady at the counter "wanted to scan" only and not even read the docs I have presented... Staff barely speaks English - more like - responding with finger pointing on the "things" I asked :). Room is super small, no fridge, no kettle, etc. Only glasses were in the room :). Breakfast was disappointing. NO vegetables at all. If you consider marmalade or a ketchup as a fruit and veges, then there were some!

Mini break.

Small room and the one with see view, it is on the street also, so it is a noisy when cars and people passing especially at night with no air-condition at the room. Breakfast area it is small. And some times it will be crowded at 9 o’clock and after. By the way, it is good for money and near to old city (7 min walking). There is public street parking around and in front of the hotel and there is also parking at the hotel which is limited number I think just for 15 cars only. So it should be booked in advance.

Thumbs up for St Malo Plage
The hotel is still being refurbished but the location is fab. I paid extra for the sea view because it is spectacular but was not very happy with being charged €10 for a parking space too. That is a very high price, especially for a very small space. The staff are helpful and the hotel is clean and fresh. There is a great little family run Italian restaurant 2 doors away too.

Great Stay for 2 nights!
I was greeted with warm welcome and the staff were amazing. The room was cozy and comfortable for a solo traveller. There is a construction but you hardly hear it. It was clean and modern. I would definitely stay again here, if I return to Saint-Malo.

Good low cost hotel
It's a very nice 10 min walk between here and the St Malo walled city, alongside or on the beach. Amazing sunrise and sunset views. Hotel is clean and simple accommodation. I had a single room on this visit, which was small but well laid out and with a very good shower. Only issue was a lack of Aircon and it was warm in the room. A fan was provided though. Staff were very helpful and friendly. They made sure i was warned a few times about nearby building work starting at 8am (wasn't an issue for me). I like Saint-Malo and will use this hotel again.

Great price, nice hotel
The Hotel was about 10 mins walk from the walled city, with parking outside. The room was very compact but ok for 2 people, it was clean and obviously newly decorated. We struggled a little checking in as the receptionist didn't speak English very well but obviously this is a hotel in France so credit where credit is due. Idea if you want to be near the city and not have to park in the larger public parking. I do wonder if in the height of the season if parking outside the hotel would be a problem as the hotel did not have a designated area reserved for guests. Overall a nice clean Hotel in a good location.

Great location
We loved the location across from the water. The hotel is a short (15 min.) walk to the old city and the harbor. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking on the street is free from 6:00pm to 9:00am, so perfect for our overnight stay. The old city is very charming with many great restaurants.

Decent experience, 10min walk from Intra-muros
Directly next to the beach (and road), got a free upgrade to a sea view room; the view is very nice indeed. Rooms are tiny, some residual smoke smells (as in many French hotels). Very friendly and helpful front desk. 10 minute walk along the beach to Intra-muros.

Excellent choice
We were staying for three nights in this hotel before we moved on to Paris. We were both very satisfied with the hotel and a bit disappointed that we did not get the seaside room because it was already booked. That would definitely enhance the experience. One downside is the room sound isolation. In the morning I could easily hear who was entering/leaving the room and the maid cleaning.

Fabulous view, great little hotel!
I was pleasantly suprised with this hotel. After struggling to find a parking space (just a case of driving around the block a few times for a space to become vacant as there is no car park attached to the hotel), the short, and easy walk back to check in was wonderful...Overlooking a beautiful beach with stunning views, the location was fantastic! Our room was on the third floor with a sea view, and the window opened up so we could take it all in. The building itself looks quite historic, and there is a lot of character from outside. Inside some of this has been lost, with the floor on our corridor feeling a little cheap and creaky, but the room itself was lovely. Clean, bright, airy and nice decor too. The hotel is a short walk (we used the beach) from the castle and bustling walled city, where we enjoyed a lovely dinner. The atmosphere here is just so relaxed, it transfers back to the hotel and all surrounding locations!

Great for those on a budget
Check in was simple, as was check out - don't forget the visiting fee! Room was an okay size, bathroom was a good size with an open style shower (plenty of room to sing like a superstar ;) ) Had a bar, and 24 hour food service, but no coffi/tea service in room. Great location, with stunning views - if you get the right room.

Convenient for the St. Malo ferry
We requested a certain room and a particular parking bay when I made the booking. I backed this up with an e-mail and had a reply confirming this; most efficient. The breakfast was self-service and good.

Disappointed by room allocation
We booked two sea-view rooms and the booking was confirmed by e-mail but were only allocated one. No refund for the price difference was offered although we were afforded free use of the private car park. The booking agency was blamed for this failure. The quality of the rooms etc were to expected standards.
