"Staff was some of the most friendly people on the island. Biggest downfall was the insane amount of seaweed, cannot swim in beach and seaweed left a horrible smell even in our room we could smell it. They try to bulldoze it away so it’s not their fault it’s just the unfortunate beach condition."

"Huge cockroaches (found one crawling on our toothbrushes) also in buffet area, tried to tell front desk but they didn’t seem to care. All of us except one got very ill, spent whole travel day home in any bathroom we could find and daughter threw up on the plane. I can see the hotel is trying but when you spend $500+ a night you expect more. Good pool and drinks and it’s nice of them to let you explore property early before your room is ready."

"Flew in from JFK and was great! Hotel is very close to airport. Planes fly over very close all day long. You could even walk to the airport to the hotel if you wanted to. Beach is beautiful and the pool was awesome. Rooms have kitchens in them and there was a grocery store right across the street. Liquor store is a two minute walk. Restaurant on the property food was great; service was a little slow but when sitting watching the waves crash was relaxing. Plenty of pool chairs."

"I think this resort is in a great location. Love the beach, seating, drinks and the daily 2 for 1 specials. On arrival though, we got little to no direction on where our room was, or even a general overview - that would have been helpful."

"The property was ok. Definitely needs renovations. My room was old and had old fortunate that was rusting. Bathroom wasn’t my favorite. Was outdated and bathtub was peeling and had missing grout. Had roaches near my sink area and weird black spots on the tile floor under the a/c. Location is great and has a pool and beach. "

"Rating is based on the fact that the Expedia photos do not accurately represent the room we received. Our room was clean but quite worn with peeling wood on cabinets and doors, very worn and faded upholstery, no sofa or lounge chairs on the balcony. However, the room had what was needed. Front desk and restaurant staff was kind and friendly. The beach chair attendant didnt want to unlock chairs for guests. He said once he did it for one couple, there would be more. We watched him turn away 4 couples. "

"The Hilton Flamingo was even better than we expected. Staff was very friendly, property was clean and well cared for. Would definitely recommend and hope we can return one day. "

"Very beautiful property, love the back area by the pool. A little older but everything else was great. Absolutely lovely staff, always greeted and would make small conversation. I would definitely stay here again"
