And to top it off, the hosts are the icing on the cake! Absolutely delightful. Enrico and Valentino could not do enough for us. They go well above and beyond to welcome you and to look after you during your stay. They are also very charming and have a great sense of humour! Thank you Enrico (and his very good English), Valentino and mama Val for our amazing stay at Château Tanesse de Tourny. We hope to be back! Adriana & the gang."

"It seems that there is rarely someone at the reception desk after 18:00...therefore, there was no one ask for information on things. Also there was no ice machine at the hotel. With that said, overall we liked the place, and are likely to return. Lovely location, impressive entrance, with a huge vineyard in the backyard, right in the middle of the "road of many chateaus". The room, along with the bathroom were both very spacious, with King-sized bed, high-quality mattress and pillows. The breakfast was excellent quality too."

"Absolutely stunning chateau Our hostess was wonderful The breakfast was amazing. Lots of food and most of it freshly made by the owner. The bike ride was a wonderful activity. It is a little remote but the public bus to Bordeaux was easily accessible if you’re happy with an hour trip each way Otherwise you might want a car We wanted a full French farm stay experience and that’s what we got Very highly recommended ❤ ️❤️"

"Enjoyed our stay here, lovely place. Highly recommended. Set in a fantasic natural area. Apartment was a 1 bed, adequate for our needs and good value for money. It was well equipped for 4, great for 2+2 little kids, but would say get a larger apartment for 4 adults. Plenty of storage. Staff are great and very helpful. Pool is not open until Middle of May, although Expedia information says Mid April. Food shopping in Hourtin centre nearby. "
