"This is potentially a perfect place to stop over. Close to the motorway and close to the beautiful town of St.Flour. But we were sold a breakfast on arrival and no one turned up to prepare it until 8:10 by which time many guests were leaving annoyed that they had not had breakfast and were now late to start their journey. "Beautifully done interior design with an eye to period authenticity. The views of the countryside are open and wide. The owners were quite personable. I had a little difficulty finding the castle since I had incorrectly set my sights on the village of Perpezat. I was looking for "Lieu dit Perpezat" which landed me an hour from the correct village - Apchat."
