Weekend Retreat
Weekend stay was great. Sara was very prompt on any requests. Very comfortable accommodations. Lots of great baked snacks and breakfast was fantastic!

YellowHouse is amazing. This place is so cute and cozy. We stayed in the main house and it felt like our own home. The cottages on the property are gorgeous, they look like little doll houses. The staff was super nice and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great overall experience! The setting was beautiful! We were there for our granddaughter’s High School Graduation and had to leave out early and was not able to have breakfast so the owner prepared a boxed breakfast that was delicious!

Sarah is a great hostess and I will definitely be back for her excellent cooking, comfy rooms and overall fun, relaxed experience. Could not have been better for a getaway spot when we had a girls trip to Salado!

The Yellow House B&B was delightful. It was out of the hustle and bustle of town, but still close enough for any shopping or dining trips. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The breakfast each morning was excellent and service was great. I will be staying again soon.

Booked a cottage for my son and daughter in law.They loved their short stay said it was very quiet and peaceful and the cottage was well equipped and less then 10 minutes to Salado.Beautiful setting!

Great B&B
This was my first time at a real B&B. It did not disappoint. It was a girlfriend trip, but great place and different accommodations for anyone wanting to get away. They even have a cute barn to host events. For the rooms in the main house where we stayed, there was a living area and kitchen area just for the guest. They have individual cottages as well to choose from. The hosts were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfasts served each morning were delicious, as well as the welcoming baked goods. The property was wonderful, cute and clean. Very relaxing which was needed and very close to town. Highly recommend!

The nicest guy met us as we drove in. The room was comfortable and homey. There was a variety of hot and cold drinks and snacks. We couldn’t stay for 9 a.m. breakfast, so they put breakfast croissants in the fridge for us. Grounds were nice. You can see the stars, and from te living room, hear the coyotes.looks like a nice place for an outdoor wedding

Definitely the place to stay if you're visiting Salado. Great place for a quiet weekend getaway. James and Sara more than exceeded our expectations. Property is well kept. We will definitly be visiting again.

What a wonderful B&B! The innkeepers, Sara and James were so sweet and took excellent care of us! The gourmet breakfast was delicious and our room was clean, comfortable and cozy with a good nights sleep! We were greeted by the owner and made to feel welcome. Our room and the common areas were just as advertised. We had a restful night and an amazing breakfast. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality bed and breakfast.

No children allowed.
If you have children, look elsewhere. As soon as I arrived, the owner said they did not allow children. This is not mentioned at all on the website. I guess my wife and my beautiful newborn daughter will enjoy staying at the Vinyard In Florence, where they happily accepted my family. The Vineyard was 20 minutes away and although not the first choice for families, it is a beautiful place to stay.

We stayed in the Gold Room in the Yellow House. Great place, very comfortable. Brian and Cathy were wonderful hosts, and the breakfast provided by Cathy was supreme! And she always had goodies (cupcakes, brownies or cookies) for late night snacks. I highly recommend this place!

Peaceful and relaxing
The Yellow house made our vacation to Texas such a memorable one, the cottages and rooms are so beautiful and the breakfasts they serve was the best food we had eaten while we were in Texas. Brian and Cathy (owners) made us feel like family. One night it was raining so hard we couldn’t see 15 feet in front of us while driving when we drove into the driveway Brian ran to our car with umbrellas for us,(who does that these days) I will never forgot our stay and I am already telling family and friends to have to stay at The Yellow House, I miss it already.

Beat B & B Ever!
We travel a Lot and love staying at B & B places, in U.S. and all over the world. This beautiful little cabin was thoughtfully furnished and immaculately clean and beautiful!! Peace and quiet and a couple miles from town and shoppers. Porch had rockers and a nearby tree swing that invited us to relax! Owners are near by but not at all intrusive. Only sign of them was amazing delicious brownies and pumpkin bread plates waiting for each arrival on a doilied plate!! And Oh My! How to describe breakfast?? It arrived in a heart shaped basket and was the best we can remember ever!! Caramelized Peaches and huge blueberries over almond croissant French toast??? We just enjoyed every bite and every pampered minute in this lovely life retreat. Our Thanks to Owners! We will find another reason as soon as possible to come here for a weekend retreat from our too busy lives!!

Texas hospitality to the max!
Cathy welcomed us; directed us to the kitchen, where caramel pecan brownies waited, along with any other snacks or drinks we may have wanted. When we asked about local live music venues, she checked into this for us, in addition to giving up a heads up on places to eat. We lacked for nothing regarding comfort or amenities! And breakfast the next day was incredible... thank you, Brian! People like Cathy & Brian have us thinking- “We’ve got to visit Texas again!!!”

Amazing Host's
We booked this place for our son and his new wife's hineymoon night. The owner could not have been more accomodationg. He went out of his way to make sure they were comfortable and went the extra mile by providing roses and dessert in the room to welcome them. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast. My daughter in law said the room was very clean and really well appointed. So pleased we chose this place for their special night. Huge thank you to the owners.

This is a great place to stay and very Friendly.
The Stars are bright deep in the heart of Texas. Far enough away from the city light that you can reach out and touch the stars. Great Owner and great Breakfast.
