"Another excellent stopover stay at the Osborne Hotel, Jesmond. Special thankyou to Receptionst / Admin. laura who chnaged our room when we arrived so we could have a bath in the ensuite. Safe parking in spaces assigned to the hotel at the back. All staff as ever friendly. Excellent location close to many restaurants and the city centre. We went to a Chinese resuarant called Kwai Feh, 5 miles, away at Branton South, South Dr, Newcastle upon Tyne NE13 9DZ who do a happy hour meal deal and cheap cocktails befoore 7:00pm Mon - Thurs. While visiting the Northumberland coast we had Fish and Chips at the The Harbour View, Seaton Sluice - terrific but very popular so be prepred to queue, but well worh it. There is a an alternative F7#C at Suth shields called Colmans. "
