The hotel was clean if a little tired. The staff were great. All very friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed an evening at the pool bar which was lively. Salvador is a great place and this hotel provides a Great base to explore it. Only a short walk to the beach or a stroll to the light house or a quick taxi in to town. PS if your a bit on the large size like myself it’s a bit of a squeeze getting through the shower door.

Terrível. Minha experiência com Portobello iniciou com um check-in atrasado + de 30 minutos. Tudo isso conduzido por uma atendimento rude e despreparado. Ao ser liberado, fui direcionado para um quarto horrível: privada suja, móveis se desintegrando, chão sujo e pasmem: roupa íntima de outro hóspede perdida embaixo da cama. Desci imediatamente pra reclamar e me trocaram de quarto. Mas, ao invés de resolverem esse terrível contratempo, me alocaram em outro quarto sujo com restos de comida pelo chão, luminárias quebradas, cama baixa, travesseiro fino e duro e pior: em cima da piscina, com barulho durante o dia todo. Ao longo dos dias, o desapontamento foi só aumentando com piscina suja e cheia dia todo, academia sem aparelho nenhum efetivo, atendimento sempre rude. Mas nada é pior que o café, que classificaria como uma faixa de Gaza, com dezenas de pessoas disputando pouquíssimas opções ofertadas. O suco é uma água saborizada nojenta. As poucas opções de comida você quase não vê porque não são repostas com agilidade. Frutas podres. E tudo isso conduzido por um staff EXTREMAMENTE MAU HUMORADO. Nem tente perguntar se vão repor algo ou retirar louça suja na mesa pra poder sentar que é cara feia. Fiz uma reclamação antecipada online e entraram em contato comigo ofertando um quarto premium. O que deveriam ter feito desde a cueca perdida ao chegar, foi oferecido pouco antes da última noite. Tarde demais. Uma dica: fujam desse lugar.
