Buena limpieza, excelente servicio del personal. Muy buen desayuno y atención en restaurante. Si bien es un hotel restaurado, y presenta buena imagen, las instalaciones presentan defectos a la hora de ser utilizados (mamparas del baño sin cierre hermético, lo que hace que se moje todo el baño, postigos de ventanales que no cierran correctamente y permiten el paso de luz y sonidos del exterior).

A bery nice Pousada located in a very nice place in Pelourinho. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast, which I still miss. From the large and nicely decorated room, there was an marvellous view over the classic part of Salvador, Pelourinho. Never before I have had such a great view from an accommodation. In the evening there was also a very good restaurant in combination with the Pousada, serving gastronomic local dishes, at a price that outdid all other restaurants in the neighbourhood. Next time I go to wonderful Salvador, I will stay in this outstanding pousada again.

Cheguei ao local e a reserva não estava lá. O proprietário cedeu um apartamento para ficarmos pois a pousada estava lotada. Tinham baratas no apartamento e não tinha ar condicionado. Senti boa vontade em resolver o problema mas não foi legal

Ladies restroom at pool needs work. Lights don't work & soap on wall almost fell off. Long wait for eggs and restaurant lacked seating on Friday morning. Only fried egg omlette; scrambled would have been nice change.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans cet pousada située dans une ruelle calme du centre de Pelourinho, entouré de petit restaurant. Nous avions une chambre avec une terrasse et une très belle vue surPelourinho. La chambre en elle même était bien nettoyé, spacieuse, et très bien décorée. Le petit déjeuner est très complet, sous forme de buffet. La localisation est parfaite! En ce qui concerne le bruit, oui il y en a mais c'est le prix à payer poir séjourner dans ce quartier (tambours, groupe de musique, mais aucune circulation!) La pousada est très agréable, très bien décoré (beaucoup d'oeuvres d'art), le personnel très serviable, accueillant, souriant et aidant. Je recommande cet pousada.

Excellent location within the old town Pelorurinho

Mr Washington and his staff made my stay in this small inn memorable. Mr Washinton is a painter and every month he sets up an exhibition for other painters in the public area of the inn. The inn is located centrally in the old town of Pelourinho which has been rehabilitated and made the art center of Salvador. You will hear live music practically in all streets of the town at all times of the day coming out of the old buildings. During the four nights I was there there were musical events every evening: samba, jazz, ... The area is well protected by the authorities. The inn itself is in a very old building and relatively small and so are the rooms. Breakfast is simple yet in a nice setting with old rehabilitated furniture tastely chosen and classical music in the background. One can admire the month's painting exhibition while eating. There are plenty of small restaurants close by.

Great location in the Pelo

A small Pousada with a nice ambience and very helpful staff. The rooms are fine if you are looking for location, convenience and experience over a great room. The are basic but comfortable enough and clean. You first step out of the Pousada is onto the cobbles and into the central areas of the Pelo. We were there for the World Cup and it was only a 10 minute stroll to the stadium too.
