" For everyone else, this is a nice, clean, standard B&B. But, for fans of the Sound of Music, please do not miss this one! It is out of town and not near any restaurants, etc. But, it's got history and Trapp family memorabilia galore. My room was nice, quaint and very similar to other B&B rooms. But, again, I didn't stay here for the bed quality. I stayed here because of the lore of the von Trapps."

"First, this was our first time to Salzburg, and we really loved the city. After the first night I was ready to rate this really low due to the fact that a remodeling project was underway right next door, and the noise was terrible. First morning we were awakened at 7:00am to a thunderous chorus of hammering and sawing, literally on the common wall that our bed was on! "Good size, updated room with air conditioning. This hotel was the first one we’ve had on this trip that had an outlet in the bathroom for curling wand. Breakfast was good with large variety. Hotel was a little difficult to locate as you can drive in a pedestrian zone to get to it for easy unloading/loading. Code is needed in later day to access pedestrian zone. The sign for hotel was quite small with small lettering. A member of our group had to walk around the area to find it while we waited in our car in the very busy pedestrian zone. Parking garage easily accessible down a few blocks from hotel. "

"This was a very clean and well presented hotel. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is in an easy 10 minute walking distance of the city centre. The breakfast was very good with a good variety of options and as it is on the 15 floor you have a tremendous view of the whole city. I would highly recommend this hotel. "
