"A very clean and well presented hotel, with easy parking. However, the room we booked was not available on the day of arrival and the replacement was disappointing. It was at the front of the hotel which suffered from road noise and was over 30’C at night, trying to sleep was almost impossible. It was not clear that breakfast was not included, overall very disappointing especially when compared to the following three hotels we stayed at."

"First, this was our first time to Salzburg, and we really loved the city. After the first night I was ready to rate this really low due to the fact that a remodeling project was underway right next door, and the noise was terrible. First morning we were awakened at 7:00am to a thunderous chorus of hammering and sawing, literally on the common wall that our bed was on! I later went to the hotel, which is where you check-in, and explained the unacceptable situation to the young lady at desk. I...

" For everyone else, this is a nice, clean, standard B&B. But, for fans of the Sound of Music, please do not miss this one! It is out of town and not near any restaurants, etc. But, it's got history and Trapp family memorabilia galore. My room was nice, quaint and very similar to other B&B rooms. But, again, I didn't stay here for the bed quality. I stayed here because of the lore of the von Trapps."

"Location was perfect for me. 7 minutes walk from the train station, and maybe 15-20 minutes walk to the old town /altstadt/ very historic center., This hotel is very clean. Very safe and very light in the corridors. Wi-Fi was fast and non-problematic. Ac was wonderful and keep the right temperature. My room was the cheapest one and it was for one person overlooking railroad tracks. And the sound insulation is just amazing. I would highly recommend it. They certainly tried to upsell breakfast for €25 per person, but it's up to you. The restaurant itself at the hotel is very nice and for dinner and the prices are quite average for Salzburg. I would highly recommend stay here"

8/10 Good
"Very good location just a four to five minute walk from the main train station. Helpful reception staff. Rooms were a good size and the bathroom was good as well. The climate control worked well and the curtains blocked out a good amount of light which made for a comfortable nights sleep. The TV was a great size and had Netflix and YouTube which was very handy if you’re travelling with kids The negatives were that the room was only cleaned after three days and that’s too long for a family of five staying in a single rooms. There was no cutlery in the room, and this biggest drawbacks was that there was no fridge. It was inconvenient going down to reception to store and retrieve your items. There was a utility room in the basement but it only had a microwave and no toaster or other facilities. If they add maybe a microwave and fridge to the rooms, that would push its rating even higher. All in all though, a nice place to stay and not much to complain about"

"Nice roof bar, rooms decent size very convenient for the train station and a nice touch giving us travel cards for our stay. Only real criticism but this may be down to Expedia the room was supposed to have a city view but our room looked out towards the edge of town/airport direction. Also I had to ask for our gold member free drink voucher, otherwise it wasn’t offered. But on the whole a very nice stay"
