Very good stay at the Bergland Hotel. It is a family-run business with friendly and helpful staff. They offered plenty of tips and suggestions for how to spend my brief 24 hour time in Salzburg. My room was bright with a clean design and plenty of lighting. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot opine on that. Overall a great stay!

The hotel and staff were great. In walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, shopping and the old town. A vegan breakfast was available at the hotel for a fee as well as some beverages. Only a few parking spaces available for a fee.

Excellent hotel with a warm atmosphere. You can really feel that this is a hotel run by a family who are passionate in what they do. The room was very clean, it’s in a great location and the staff went above and beyond to help us. In fact, we have found all Austrians to be incredibly hospitable. I would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay in beautiful Salzburg.

We were very comfortable in our rented rooms. The location was close enough to walk to the old city and visit all the must see sights. We were able to park right in front of the hotel. Thanks to the friendly staff, we would gladly stay there again. Salzburg is a charming, lovely city. Eva and Klaus.

This is such a charming and quiet place to stay in Salzburg for adults! We stayed for 3 nights and our room was very comfortable and roomy. The staff helped with restaurant suggestions, directions and more. There was a beautiful breakfast that cost extra. The hotel is convenient to sightseeing and in walking distance to some store, restaurants and historic locations. It is located on a side street making it quieter than most. We definitely recommend The Bergland Hotel!

The perfect hotel to explore Salzburg! Our location was perfect, the room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated the detailed instructions when we checked in as we felt we were being welcomed into a warm home that was to become our home for our stay. Lots of privacy but we knew we could always reach out to the staff. Breakfast was amazing and always filling. And appreciated the community honor bar and elevator.

From the start of my stay until the very end it was a joy to spend time at The Bergland. Amazing hosts and the amazingly helpful Anna, made it a highlight of my trip to Europe. Great rooms, superb breakfast and centrally located to use as a base to visit the wonderful city of Salzburg. A true gem.

We had a wonderful stay at this family run hotel. It was in a quiet neighborhood and only a 20-minute walk to the old city and nearby public transportation We loved spending that evening on the terrace, drink wine and talk with some of the other guests The room was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable The staff was so helpful in many ways with ideas for the city and responding to requests at the hotel And we enjoyed the very good breakfast most mornings In our experience, the hotel rates were very expensive in Salzburg and we chose this hotel because more reasonable. It was less expensive but we did not feel like we compromised at all and had a wonderful experience
