Male worker added extra "taxes" although when booking it confirmed all taxes were included. When asked to pay, i shown my card, he insisted we paid cash but we didnt have any so he spoke in german, probably annoyed because he couldnt fiddle the transaction. The room was a 3-bed (1 double & 1 single) leaving very little room for movement. Tue sheets and bedroom were clean hiwever we had to soak the shower head before use as it was disguisting. The room was very dusty, everytime i walked in the ro9m i had a nosebleed from the irritation. There was no way to change the temperature so the room was very hot all the time even with the window open. There was clumps of dust inder the bed and on the 2nd night we found silverfish pests - so glad it was our last night! You are given a hotel card for the main door, and a key for your hotel room although the cleaners have a master fob. We never left any valuables in the room whilst we were out. The petrol station outside was very intimidating to walk by especially when it came to night time, there seemed to be a lot of thug looking groups lurking around and watching you as you pass. I would not recommend staying here if you are having a city break.

Close to the station and public transport. Christmas markets are walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful. You do hear some noise from the street but it’s not too loud and that is not the fault of the hotel.

At first night I couldn’t sleep since the pillow was very thin, I asked for extra pillow and he didn’t give me. Second night was better, they gave me pillows. The safe box is very important for a tourist, it was broken.

Our door lock didn’t work properly, so we had difficulty locking the door when we were in the room. Building was secure, and room was otherwise adequate. Our stay was a last minute decision when we missed our connecting train and couldn’t make it to our intended destination for the night. Hotel was near the train station, staff was very nice and helpful, and breakfast (which was included) had a nice selection of choices.

Underrated place, much better than other reviews suggest. Easy walk from HBF and with a good breakfast included. Note there is no elevator but only a couple of flights of stairs.

The property is next to a gas station, it was loud and hot at night without any AC and was not worth 300 euros a night. I feel fleeced. The food from the restaurant across the street got my son sick and made for a miserable stay.

Once you find the front sliding door to the property, you are greeted by overflowing garbage cans. Then you have to hoof your luggage up a flight of stairs to the reception area. While the room seems clean, the fan made sounds all night. The television didn't work. It's in a very noisy part of town and from what I could tell, not a very safe place to stay.

Pretty good location right next to the train station. About a 20-25 minute walk to old town. Room was small but OK.Breakfast was the usual in europe, no hot food except for boiled eggs. No A/C but we had a fan. Right for the price.

Large room but inconvenient hotel
It's old hotel. No elevator, hard to find, and bathroom door cannot be closed completely. Though meal is not bad and room is large, I'm recommend this hotel.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The bed linens were dirty, the towels frayed, no AC, windows were broken, ceiling fan wasn’t working and when we asked for a fan, we were treated like we were asking too much! Do not stay here!!!

Buyer beware. The rooms are much smaller than the description would have you believe. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was adequate, but the room was very small. I was told in advance that I was reserving a "family room with 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 double sofa bed". I felt that the room description on Orbitz is insincere. What we got were 4 twin beds stuffed in a room the size of a college dorm room (maybe smaller). Otherwise, the hotel was adequate. I'm a firm believer in honesty. If the room is small, just tell me in advance and I'll be OK with it.

More like a motel or hostel. Above the car park. Entrance was simply a staircase (no lobby). Male staff at front desk was quite rude and impatient but the female cleaning staff was nice. We put our luggage there after check-out but no one responded to the door bell when we returned. Few minutes later, the cleaning staff unlocked for us and she considerately asked us if we need to use the toilet after we took the luggage.

Close to the entrance, there were ig huge garbage trolleys from nearby buildings. People in the bar downstairs were noisy all night.

it's located in a very good area. close to train station and car rental and town by walking. room is clean. u can request opposite site with street side will be more quiet. the receptionist is very nice and helpful.

I never actually stayed at this hotel as they sold my room although I had a confirmation number . We arrived at 8 pm , it’s hard to find , hidden behind a Shell station, the owner drove us to another hotel where I slept on the sofa as the bed was broken. What can I say ? About hotel garni ? It looked clean and I would have been quite happy to stay there , just really annoyed that they didn’t honor the booking, but he also fixed the problem he created and we were not charged for the hotel so no can’t complain about that.?

hotel looks like a motel building is old, not easily accessible (no elevator) and it's in the corner of a random building - doesn't look like a hotel at all and shouldn't be coined as a "hotel" breakfast was ok walking distance to city centre & main train station.

We arrived after 3:30, reception suggested we get one room for four instead of our two separate rooms that were previously booked online. Had to wait 15 min to get room which ended up being very crowded for the four of us. One bed was broken as it sagged terribly in the centre and the middle leg was propped up by a piece of wood. The end leg did not rest on the floor at all. Was not comfortable whatsoever to sleep in. The bathroom sink drain pipe constantly leaked water all over the floor and our second day there was no hot water at all meaning no showers. Breakfast was terrible. Felt like we were staying at a self check in and check out hotel. No one at the reception in the evening or upon check out. Had to pay room fee upon check in. We ask reception to send a taxi to pick us at checkout for 4 and to accommodate our luggage being 8 pieces. The taxi was prompt however the driver was angry and shouting at us as his vehicle could not accommodate us. The hotel could not even do this correctly for us. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Was the worse hotel stay out of many in our Europe travels.

The hotel was difficult to find, as the entrance was off the main road. The room was fine and the hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station. However, no one is friendly at the reception, almost giving you the feeling that you are interrupting them.

Not as bad as it says.
Considering the reviews I read the hotel was not actually as bad as people make out, I stay at 100 of hotels a year with business, this one had some of the best WiFi, one of the most powerful showers and a comfortable bed, the only down side was the staff at the reception seamed pre occupied on check in and check out.

Nice hotel close to train station
This is a no frills hotel with good breakfast, excellent location near the Train Station, Mirabelle gardens short Walk easy access to all bus lines. Rooms are clean we were three so we had a double bed and a twin plus a sofa. They held our luggage while we went into the city until our late night flight out. Very nice staff!
