"The hotel apartment is ideal for family of 4-5 on a budget. The rooms are large and it has more of an apartment feel vs a hotel. Service is decent though housekeeping is alternate days. Food options are excellent especially Indian restaurants in 2 minute walking distance (Cochin restaurant). The location enables easy 10 minute access to Mutrah souq and many attractions of Muscat. "

"Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. The reception seemed not familiar to the Expedia pre-payment arrangement. So, you may be better to have your Expedia booking confirmation handy. Hot shower needed more than 5 minutes to come out. I...

"I had a lovely stay at Muscat Plaza. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and I truly appreciated the warm treatment throughout my visit. However, upon arrival, there was an issue with my booking not being found, which led to some uncomfortable calls asking about extending my stay. While the staff was courteous in handling the situation, it did cause a bit of discomfort. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and believe that with some improved organization, it could be an even better...
