Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

"Samaria Hotel is very nice hotel to stay and within walking distance to most of tye shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and cozy. Unfortunately, some of the staff seemed unwilling to help when needed and my son was stopped from coming to our room upon his arrival. "

Beautiful apartments set into the hillside overlooking Souda Bay. Incredibly modern, new and super clean. Very spacious rooms, equipped with all the essentials and also outstanding views.
Staff are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was an issue for them. The receptionist was incredibly accommodating with my requests and really lovely to deal with.
Wonderful small pool area which again, has an incredible view of Souda bay and the mountains. Well equipped with substantial sun loungers and an outside shower. Beautiful flowers and palms planted around the area. Really lovely landscaping and well kept. Would be great if there was a toilet accessible for the pool area 24/7.
I couldn't recommend these beautiful apartments more.
I would just mention that it is probably best to have a car, as it is near a very busy road which is pretty unsafe to walk down to the beach / restaurants.
Otherwise taxis to airport are 10-15mins but $28-35."
"Perfect location with stunning views across Almyrida, we watched the sunset each evening from our balcony.
Beaches & restaurants were just a few minutes walk away. Restaurants offered a delicious array of dishes, lots of fish and Cretan style salads.
Lovely sandy beaches and shallow sea, perfect for a dip to cool off.
We took a taxi to Chania Old Town one day which we would definitely recommend, you can also take the bus there from Almyrida.
Just as feedback, the room could do with a full length mirror but everything else was perfect for our stay.
We had a perfect, relaxing week and will definitely be back!
