Amazing location! Literally behind the Alamo- our windows overlooked the Alamo’s back yard/exhibits. Just steps to the Riverwalk, and across the street from the mall. Very safe. Beautiful building. Parking was available but expensive, so we parked at a public lot down the street. Still very convenient.
The staff was wonderful, happy, and helpful.
We had a corner room that was clean and beautiful with two walls of windows. Loved it during the day, but not great at night. The windows were covered with large shutters which let a lot of street light in all night. It was tough to sleep. They are high quality and attractive shutters, but I highly recommend they add blackout curtains as well.
Also, my husband and I each used the shower once and it didn’t drain, not even overnight. Luckily we were checking out so it wasn’t a problem for us.
We would totally recommend the hotel, just maybe not that room.
