Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Beautiful gardens on property and very convenient to Snow Monkey Park. Meals were delicious and such a great experience!
Food was amazing! Everyone was really accommodating and friendly. The location is right next to the snow monkey park. Would recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Nagano.
Stayed 2 nights and had an AMAZING experience. Dinner was a fantastic experience. We enjoyed embracing the Japanese culture while wearing the Yukata throughout! Onsens were a great time. Highly recommended!!!
We had an amazing and relaxing 2 night stay here. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the Kaiseki meals and breakfasts were great (and huge). The public and private onsens were really nice, and not crowded at all possibly because we visited during the summer. Great location to visit the snow monkey park!
The room was everything I dreamed of having in an Onsen. It was beautifully appointed and impeccably clean.
We chose the room with the western beds and found it quite comfortable and very spacious.
The staff was extremely helpful. Spoke English well, and the food was amazing. The presentation of both our breakfast and dinner was a beautiful display of Japanese aesthetics.
We loved the mineral bath, and we love the fact that we had an indoor and an outdoor mineral pool.
The proximity to the Snow Monkey park was great. I didn’t like that they did not inquire about sizes needed for yukayas as other ryokans had done. Japanese cuisine was very nice.
Thank you very much for the hospitality.
Everything was very nice.
If I have to rank from 1 - 10; I would give almost in every parameter 10
Food, will give 9
Still a very high ranking, so would be more then happy to come back.
Shopping of souvenirs, a bit limited, but it is o.k
Thank you again for the excellent hospitality.
Good hotel close to the Snow Monkey Park. Outdoor and indoor ryokan and a mix of Japanese and traditional rooms. Staff speak reasonable English and are friendly and helpful.
Downsides: rooms are very hot in the winter due to central heating. The hotel feels a bit dated and could you a refresh in some places.
The property and facilities are beautiful, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful experience, thank you so much!

Great location and amazing staff. Don’t miss the private onset experience.
Amazing stay and would highly recommend if you are looking for an immersive and authentic experience in Japan with close access to the Snow Monkey Park. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. There is a vendor who brings in fresh fruit. Definitely purchase the high grade grapes as they are huge and very sweet and delicious. The private onsens were amazing. The hotel thought of all the details to make the experience a memorable one!
This was an incredible place to stay! Authentic Japanese traditions shared with us and the entire place was beautiful! You can walk to the entrance to the Snow Monkeys from here! They make up your bed while you are out. The beds are twin futons on the floor so be prepared, but it was fun! A little stiff when we woke up. Wish we had stayed another night to enjoy the warm bath!
