While I have had positive stays here in the past and found the staff to be lovely, my most recent experience was disappointing. The 'small things' were handled well, but the fundamental comforts were lacking. My room door failed to lock properly, and one of the mattresses was in poor condition—lumpy and sagging significantly in the middle. Furthermore, one bed was made with a rough mattress pad instead of sheets; despite requesting a change from the staff, this was never addressed. ​I was also frustrated by the unexpected parking fees, as my booking indicated parking was free. Between the maintenance issues and the cumbersome Wi-Fi requirements, the value just wasn't there this time. Although the hotel is clean and quiet, I will be booking elsewhere for my next trip to San Antonio

Room was normal and the location is good. However the hotel was pumping some kind of scented air freshener throughout making the lobby and hallway areas almost unbearable. Thankfully we had a portable air filter unit with us so we were able to keep the room smell manageable but all of our bags and clothes smelled after the visit.

Where do I even start? My stay here was probably one of the most comfortable and enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a while. Friendly Staff, spotless room, great location, amazing breakfast! Forget about your normal powdered eggs and toast, they had egg frittatas! A big selection of delicious breakfast items. 3 different kinds of coffee and much more.

This property is beginning to show its age, but the main issue for me was that they charge for parking, but don’t tell you about it until AFTER you put your credit card in for incidentals AND they don’t give you a tag or verify parking, so it’s really just an arbitrary fee and there are signs EVERYWHERE telling customers they aren’t responsible for stolen items, which leads me to believe they have that issue frequently. But seriously, super shady to divulge your NEW parking fee that started 2 days before I checked in AFTER you’ve obtained my card-it feels dishonest. I travel weekly and rarely stay in Hilton’s and I’m reminded why now-they nickel and dime you for everything (internet, parking, etc.) and the facilities I’ve frequented always just seem a little more run down than the neighboring Marriott or IHG. There was also quite a bit of short, straight hair in the bathroom that was NOT ours, so cleanliness was a concern. We also were treated to an hour long concert at 7am by the neighbor’s dog. They should have certain rooms that are dog friendly and more insulated from sound for those who choose to leave their fur babies home during vacation. With all that being said, it was far from the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, I just felt that the facilities did not fit the price and the parking thing was scammy. Beds were comfortable and I appreciated the coffee in the lobby. I’d stay here again if the Marriott next door was sold out and I needed to be in the area.
