Concierge (Cathy) did a fantastic job in orienting a high-maintenance couple (my wife and I ) to the attractions of San Diego including tickets (and a warm blanket for) the Willie Nelson concert. The Hotel's "Provisional" restaurant is an architectural marvel - besides its good food and service. Hard to find anything about the Hotel and helpful staff to complain about.

Nice property and very comfortable room. FYI-Sunday pool party was a surprise, non hotel guests were outnumbering the guests and it was fairly crazy.

This is my fourth time staying at Pendry San Diego and it's always incredible! We celebrated my husband's birthday this time and he had a great time. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice, upscale. Also a nice pool, hot tub and chaise lounges available. Walkable to a variety of restaurants, bars and not far from the airport.

My stay here was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was kind and helpful. Room and property were clean and comfortable. Will return without a doubt. My only complaint is the excessive $60 parking charge.

Great property to stay at if you are single or a couple. The hotel is in Gastown so is a great area to walk around and there are plenty of restaurants. The 3rd floor pool is quite good and has great pool service. The only two negative items - if you're staying with friends or kids - the rooms have clear glass walled showers with a privacy curtain and there is very little storage space to unpack and organize for a long stay. The rooms themselves are comfortable and the hotel has great amenities.

Was not able to make our stay. Family got sick and the hotel would not change our dates. They actually preferred us to come stay instead of changing our date knowing we were sick. We chose not to get others sick that had nothing to do with their policy.

5 star service in downtown San Diego
Loved my stay at the Pendry. From the start to finish everyone was so welcoming. The valets, front desk, restaurant staff, etc. It’s beautifully decorated and the room was beautiful, clean, and Comfortable. My only complaint was I was handed a card by the bellman with amenities and didn’t realize there was a welcome drink included? Not sure what that was. I say this because use those amenities!! The resort fee is around $45 daily and parking is $60 overnight, which is very typical for downtown San Diego. It’s not a complaint as it’s standard for the area but be aware.

Best in town.
Best in town, hands town. Rooms a little snug, but clean and new. Most other hotels in San Diego look, feel and smell dated. Not this one.

It is nice all in all but I don’t understand why they would charge a resort / spa fee when that covers the pool , fitness center and internet ( which was supposed to be free and didn’t work that well ).

Excellent rooms and top notch staff. This is a great central location to explore downtown San Diego and the Gaslamp District. Caught a Giants game and the walk was very easy. Will return in the future.
