The service and staff were amazing. We were upgraded in our room so we could have a view of the bay. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here. It is an older hotel but very clean and comfortable.

Mark Hopkins was the hotel that I stayed on my first visit to San Francisco over 35 years ago. The hotel has maintained its good services. My only complaint is the elevator wait could be very long specially when they were groups of people going to Top of the Mark.

This Hotel is a historic beauty, iconic of the making of San Francisco. Their Top of the Mark is one of SF's wonders. They upgraded me to a suite for free. I was very happy staying at the Mark Hopkins and will be coming back.

This is a historic old property with an elegant feel. Food was excellent in both the restaurant and the bar. Service was excellent!

A very special week for myself and my partner, and the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins was a good choice for us, My annual pilgrimage to the Bay Area to escape the heat of New Orleans. We wanted to treat ourselves. It compares favorably to some of the other "Grand Dame" hotels of that era that we've stayed in over the past few years here and in other cities.

We loved the Intercontinental! It was a very high-end experience for a reasonable rate. The beds were comfortable, and the view was nice. And very close to the Trolley stop!
