The location was convenient. Two blocks from the beach and right on the muni line. The band in the bar downstairs was quite loud some nights. The vents on the heater needed cleaning desperately

For a low cost hotel, very clean, rooms have been redone and very nice for cost. Parking is limited. The one issue we had was the bar in nextdoor. Band started playing after 10 and got extremely loud until very late.

Between the bar overflow under your ancient windows and the trolley turn-around thirty feet away, bring all the noise-cancelling gear you can fit into your suitcase Otherwise it's a decent cut rate motel - room bare but spacious, service and internet/cable OK, free parking in back it you get there early, and close to beach.

Great Motel

another great night sleep, clean as always. parking is always a bit of a problem but if you can park you'll be fine lol looking forward to staying here next time i come to town! the bar does get a little rowdy but like i say in my other reviews some white noise and you'll be fine

Quick one-night stay

When we arrived there was plenty of parking. We had to wait a few minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk but then check in was quick and easy. The room was nothing special but plenty comfortable. The price was reasonable so I would definitely stay again.

Simple, Clean and Functional

Well lite off street parking. Small room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Great location for visiting Golden Gate Park and the ocean. Public transportation within one block, many restaurants to pick from within walkable distance and coffee shop one the corner.

i had seen another review about the noise and yeah this time i heard it alot more the little bar under the hotel gets cracking lol but still not a problem played some white noise on the tv and slept pretty great. room is super clean, parking this time was a bit of a issue but the front desk took care of it. 10/10 will continue to stay here.

I like that it was close to UCSF, but it is a noisy area. Free parking is a plus, but it is first come basis. There is available parking on street as well. Walking distance to beach was nice, but it was super windy and cold when we were there. The Tran runs all day and night which is pretty noisy and there is a bar downstairs that can get noisy as well. Luckily we were there during the week. Overall it is not a bad area.

For the price, it is not bad at all. The room was massive and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Hot water and good water pressure. Lots of free parking for guests. Only downside was the cable car was very loud and ran all day and night, so if you’re sensitive to sound probably not the place for you. Also the room we stayed in, the window had no screen so it do is just open and be a safety hazard.

Place is a fleabag motel. Good points: train goes right by many areas good for food and drink and all the way to the stadium. Right next to the beach, and GG Park. Good value.

Pros: price, onsite parking, quick check in, huge room, mattress comfort, fast hot water, close to beach. Cons: quite noisy all day long - trolley car, vehicle traffic, and talkative bar patrons make it hard to sleep. No heat or air conditioning (not needed on this trip fortunately). The room needs a seating area, more chairs, a mirror, luggage racks, and hangars for closet. (insulated windows for noise and temperature control would also be nice)

There are several bad reviews of this property but I just rented a room there and the staff was friendly, room was clean, and the place was decent. It’s also one block away from the ocean. It’s not luxurious but it definitely deserves a try.

Great value

Two nights in Rm 14. Clean, felt safe, free parking, free Wi-Fi. Mattress comfortable. Linens seemed newish. Street with N-Judah so you’ll def hear it 6am-midnight, but not big deal to me. Walking distance to convenience store, restaurants. 1 block from Ocean Beach, 2-3 block from GGP. This is my go-to SF hotel.
