"The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. "I had reservations about this hotel when I booked as I had read a couple of bad reviews and was worried the ones I was reading were not legitimate. I stayed with my two adult kids for a relaxing couple of days before a tour and we loved this hotel!! The staff were lovely and it was safe and clean. The food was great and we would stay again there for sure."
