"At first it seemed clean. Check in wasn’t overly friendly. We called down for extra towels and blankets, service not available for single night stay. The pool is freezing and they don’t keep towels stocked. All that I could overlook until breakfast. We found the largest cockroach I’ve ever seen under our breakfast table. No thank you!"

The room was spacious. The shower was exactly like I like it, no curtain, step in without a bath tub, just glass and wide. It is easily one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had in the Bay Area and even internationally."

"Such a beautiful, old building! The room was comfortable and clean; the staff friendly. The condition of the hotel rooms (grout, bathroom) needs attention. The windows were filthy! Location is very good."
