Close to airport, convenient airport shuttle and good breakfast offered. Everything we were looking for during a short stay. We also appreciated the ‘To-go snack’ bags provided to us when we had a very early flight to catch.

Fairfield by Marriott San Jose Airport Alajuela
Nice restaurant slightly expensive. Breakfast was good but bacon would have made it much better than cold ham slices. Room is good but needs a recliner. Only has a desk chair - not that comfortable while in room waiting. Staff very friendly and some had excellent english. Shuttle from and to airport ...

Barceló San José
The experience was wonderful. The shuttle driver was waiting at the designated area with a sign identified as Barcelo. Check-in was smooth, all staff interaction was courteous, room was very clean and the breakfast was more than I expected. It was well done. I will be back again.
