The location of the room was ideal for catching an Uber to visit around Viejo San Juan where you can find a supermarket, tourist attractions, and restaurants. — it’s right on the corner & you will hear the traffic from your room.

The spot itself was not bad, close access to everything and the room was well advertised. Communication with the staff was not the best. Language barrier was not an issue, they just wouldn’t respond to requests/needs.

The location is good. However, we were disappointed in several things. The floor was filthy. The coffee pot did not work. The kitchen had only a few things. There was no soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We had to go and purchase these. The furniture was dirty, some even had stains. The one good thing, the bed was comfy and the sheets were clean.

The staff was ok we communicated by phone the room was not bad but the pull out bed was not clean. They didn't provide all the necessary linings we did can to talk to the representative they never addressed the issue they had us waiting and then offered a 25 percent discount.

The apartment was clean and had all the basic necessities that were needed. Unfortunately, the stove top did not work, and there was no other way to heat food up, and there was no remote to use or access usage of the television.

the check in process is crazy too many steps to do . separate area to store luggage . no elevators we have to carry up the stairs our luggages not disclose in the website . the place is dirty the floors not being cleaned properly lots of dirt and dirt stain on the tile floors . smells smokey inside even tho it said non smoking in the website . the only good thing about casa pelayo is spacious apartment and the location is accessible to the old san juan and the airport

We were in apt #2 of Casa Pelayo Cleanliness: The shower hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It had hair and dirt. We contacted management who apologized and said cleaning would come the next day. They didn't. The floors, of course, got progressively dirty throughout our 4 day trip but there was no broom and "extra cleaning" would have come with a fee so we ended up wearing shoes inside. Towels were never changed....for a four-day. False description: Speaking of towels, there were no beach towels (though said to be available in the description) so I spent $23 for 3 at Walmart. Not good. They said there are places for laundry "nearby" in the description. What they did didn't say is that they are not in walking distance and that laundry places' reviews are horrendous. Living: There is virtually no storage for clothing/items. There are 2 nightstands in the bedroom and a built-in shelf that is poorly built and cracking under weight/pressure. This is for an apt that is supposed to house up to 4 people (again, they didn't replace towels despite me requesting). There is also no powered ventilation in the bathroom despite it sitting off the bedroom so you might want to take quick showers and flush a lot if you have to do a number two. It's a street level apartment so you will hear cars and music loud and clear. Hoses for all 6 apartments' AC units run thru the bathroom ceiling so condensation will drip on you when you're in there. The indoor shutters don't work well.

Upon arrival I made a call to assure myself about the parking mention in the message. The person who answered left on hold for about 15 minutes and never answered. I hung up and look it up myself. Other than that excellent spot.

La habitación es tal cual se describe. Lo que nos dejó una estadía incómoda e insatisfecha fue que: 1. No se comunicaron con nosotros para darnos los detalles de la habitación. YO tuve que escribirles a las 7:00pm para saber qué habitación sería y el código de acceso, de otra forma dudo que ellos me hubieran dicho. 2. No avisaron que no había agua en el apartamento. Comprendo que es una situación que está afectando a toda la isla, pero ellos debieron avisarnos que iba a afectar nuestra estadía, así nosotros decidíamos si quedarnos o no. De igual forma, yo tuve que escribirles para saber qué pasaba, ellos no avisaron. 3. Hacían falta algunas amenidades. Éramos 3 personas (1 cama matrimonial y 1 sofá cama) y no había colcha para el sofá cama. En la página de Expedia anuncian que hay plancha y planchador de ropa (nosotros lo íbamos a ocupar), y no había. La habitación es muy cómoda, está bien ubicada, y si existe una comunicación con el host, pero esos detalles nos dejaron una estadía incómoda.
