A Non-Holistic 'Pig in a Poke'
Upon arrival, no one was present to check us in. When staff finally appeared, they were unaware of our booking. The room was spacious but filthy—thick dust, no toilet paper, soap, or shampoo. The toilet and sink were dirty, the shower barely worked, and holes in the walls let bugs inside. Beds had worn linens and uncovered dirty pillows.
The confirmation vaguely mentioned “some construction,” but the property was a full construction site. Workers were active near our room until late afternoon. The restaurant, marked open, wasn’t available to guests.
No one was clearly in charge. Staff, though initially helpful, became hostile after we decided to leave after one night due to the conditions. Our feedback about the misleading booking information was dismissed, and we were falsely accused of complaining online. Staff denied the visible construction and refused a refund, though the manager eventually agreed to charge us for one night only.
Even after we left, the manager harassed us online, demanding extra payments.
The advertised holistic concept collapsed under staff defensiveness. Feedback was treated as a personal attack rather than an opportunity to improve. The experience was neither tranquil nor professional. Think twice before booking here.
