I need my money back. Check in was at 3. They had me check in at 5 with zero communication from the front desk. Place is dirty, abandoned, I will never ever recommend this place to anyone on earth. I can’t believe it exists. There are humans that are suppose to be working there but they are just human. Not workers. Customer service doesn’t exist. They don’t even know what that is. They are just there so that when you check in..they think there is a staff. Worst place.

I enjoyed most everything, although I have some practical suggestions such as: Since the hotel does not sponsor taxi and there is no other way of transportation for those without UBER, at least offer a trusted tel number of a taxi for those in need. The hotel is lovely, clean, safe and the food is great.

The check out was horrible. I waited near 30 minutes for the check out. The reception folks couldn’t figure out what to do. I ended up having to leave as the reception folks couldn’t even do the check out. The wait time at the restaurant varied between 1-2 hours. The food was good but wait times are strange. The saving grace is the cleaning staff. They were on point and excellent.

Everything was perfect excellent service very courteous staff, the only problem was the young woman who wears glasses at the reception desk did not want to help us with any questions we asked but overall very nice hotel.

I would suggest calling ahead to verify booking. I have stayed here 3 times and each one we have had issues where they “can’t find the reservation” and I have tried via different avenues and the same issue. They’ll have you waiting trying to figure it out and ultimately will but just be prepared if they present you with the same problem. Aside from the, bar on site and restaurant. Rooms are beyond outdated and need upgraded beds as they’re not as comfortable but clean. Restrooms are old and clog. I feel that the “premium” suites have better quality rooms and if that’s the case, I suggest paying the extra money for it.

Good stay in San Miguel
Surprisingly good hotel in a not-so-touristy city. It's more expensive than other places, but totally worth it. It's on the main street in town amd has a good breakfast and large rooms.
