San Pellegrino in Alpe Holidays

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Florence. From the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, welcoming, and very helpful. The communication before and during our stay was excellent, which made everything feel smooth and easy. The location was perfect for enjoying Florence, and the hotel itself felt comfortable, clean, and well cared for. After long days walking through the city, it was a great place to come back to and relax. What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff made us feel taken care of without it ever feeling forced. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

Great location! For the price, I expected high end service but it was average - nothing extraordinary. There was also only instant coffee in the room.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, we couldn’t believe how good it was. Exactly like the photos. The hotel was built only in 2018 and the facilities are constantly kept in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. In a quiet part of town easily walkable into the main attractions and close to a bus and a tram stop, a perfect sanctuary to rest at night time. All of the staff are so kind and polite, especially Francois who looked after us very well at breakfast time. The hotel would be worth the price tag just for the comfortable rooms and location, but it has the added bonus of a free breakfast (with tons of choices and free mimosas), free luxury spa facilities and free home made lemonade and biscuits available at all times. We can’t recommend this hotel enough as a boutique stay perfect for adults wanting a luxury escape.

The location of the hotel can’t be beat, the dining room overlooks Piazza Signoria and a 1 minute walk to the Uffizi. We traveled with our 5 year old and booked the larger room which is very spacious and they turned the chaise into a small toddler bed which was perfect. Room and bathroom were clean, and we had no run-ins with cleaning staff nor did we ever come back to room not being serviced, which can be an issue when you return early afternoons for toddler naps. Not 5 stars because the entrance of the hotel is not accessible by car and this was our first impression. They should give you clear instructions on where to direct your taxi and how to walk to the hotel from the drop off. There’s no street level lobby or porter so it’s just not easy. Again being left of the street not knowing how to get to the hotel when you first arrive is not fun.
