"We had an incredible experience. The property is gorgeous, modern, clean and charming. The internal Japanese garden is a work of art. The staff is wonderful and always available to help. we decide to go back and bring our children with us next time. "

"We stayed in this ryokan for a family trip. The city is unknown to non-Japanese people, but the people at the ryokan were so kind and helpful. Sometimes it was not easy to communicate as their English was not the best, but they tried their best to help. The meals were awesome, and the bath places were great as well. We were totally satisfied and I strongly recommend this place."

"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"The room is very clean and fresh. Very close to Nagano train station east exit. Breakfast is delicious but a bit too crowded due to amount of ppl staying. Coin laundry is available on L1 which is awesome. Staff is very friendly. The only thing to be improved is bed a bit hard for me."
"Room is clean, the double room is not big but acceptable, location is great as its just across the JR station.
Dormy Inn is always one of our go to hotel around Japan, we love their breakfast and not forgetting their complimentary onsens, supper, ice-cream, etc. "
"Stayed 3 nights in an executive room on the 10th floor. It was clean, spacious, and with a good view of the station and the mountains. Will stay again."
