"The walls were filthy, there were diver fish bugs under the bed covers. The floors were dirty. There was no bathroom fan. It smelled like cigarettes."

"This is my 3rd stay at the renovated vista hotel and have enjoyed it everytime. The front desk staff were very friendly and incredibly accommodating as my last stay i had to leave at 4am to catch a flight. They told me they would have a bagged breakfast ready for me and I can have extra coffee pods for the room. The room.was very clean and the bed was super comfy. This is definitely my go to hotel now for my stays in kamloops."

"My room smelled like cigarette smoke. The front desk person could barely speak English and couldn't understand anything I said on the phone or in person. It was extremely difficult. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, and I asked for no cigarette smoke, no smoking, no nothing, which should be the law by now. Someone smoked in that room, and I had allergies the next day for my surgery, where they had to give me a whole bunch of Benadryl before I was able to get surgery."
