"Very efficient. Clean room, staff nice, but no special touches… not even a box of tissues in the room. The shower was good, but if you turned the water on, then pulled up the knob for the shower, gallons of water continued to pour out of the faucet. I finally figured out that if I pulled up the shower knob and then turned on the water, it worked. Towels were a bit raggedy. Again, it was clean and safe, just nothing to look forward to coming back other than the competitive price. And the tv didn’t work. It turned on but we couldn’t get a channel. Front desk said to use the buttons on the side of the TV. That didn’t fix it so we just read. I would have expected written instructions for the TV if the remote wasn’t sufficient, but there wasn’t."

"We loved our stay at Casa Riviera. The room was clean, parking was easy, check in and out was easy and our hosts thought of every little detail for what we may need during our stay. We couldn't be happier with choosing to stay there."

"A great beachfront location for a family vacation! We walked to the zoo, beach, historic pier & various excellent dining options. The only need for driving was to visit the botanic garden! The large pool is very accessible although the cafe near the pool was not open. We did put she's pool toys & snacks at the hotel gift shop. Parking is close to the main building & the breakfast buffet had a great variety perfect for the different preferences of our extended family, an A plus to the Hilton SB Beachfront Resort!"

"Breakfast is typical. Similar to many other hotels breakfast (scramble eggs, boil eggs, bacon, oatmeal, bagel, coffee, juice, apple and banana…). But the only thing is they open from 7am and close at 9am. Be sure to be there early. "

"7 11, Ikes sandwiches and IHOP were very near but my room 213 was sub par for $170 a night. List of problems include a hard to open key card system for the door, a horrible Apple TV system with no local news or sports and bad selections, no drain cover for the bathroom sink, nonfunctional hotel room phone, no frig or microwave, not enough outlets to charge phones etc, had to make coffee in bathroom bc of outlet problems. It is our 30th wedding anniversary today and we wanted to come back to Santa Barbara where we honeymooned and we chose the wrong place."
