"The property is conveniently located on a beautiful beach. The front desk staff were polite, but don’t do anything beyond their job. The rooms needed to be upgraded with a better layout of the bathroom (toilet and shower) - “water closet”, with modern shower heads and toilets. Other than a water bottle and shopping bag, there weren’t any amenities in the room (no hand soaps, no lotions…nothing extra). You can see the rusting doors and air conditioner system is a guess of what temperature it is on… you’ve got to play around with it to achieve a comfortable temperature.
Overall, the staff is friendly and polite. However, as the visitor/guest, you have to know what questions to ask because no one is readily giving out information.
The general breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet was mediocre at best… although the specialty restaurants were superior.
Probably will pick a different resort to try next time (for my 7th visit to this beautiful island)"
"Overall the stay was good but not worth $2500 for premium king room. We got fresh towels here and there but the floors were never mopped and never got a new bath mat the whole time we were there so we used towels. The WiFi went out on a Monday and wasn’t back on until Thursday. Poole were nice and clean but they don’t open until 10am. A little late in my opinion. Their check in and check out should be separated and have their own desks as getting in and out takes a while. Air conditioning and room was nice. Ice machine on the 2nd floor where we were was broke 5 out of the 7 days we were there and we had told them a couple times. The time we went was May beginning June there were a lot of people from Argentina and Europe there so the DJs and bands catered to their music the whole time. We spent most of our time exploring the island and over at LaCabana where there were more amenities and the music was better at night. I was asked a review so I am just giving all of my thoughts"
Holiday Inn Resort Aruba - Beach Resort & Casino by IHG
8/10 Good
"We did not like the check in process. In spite of us buying ocean view and putting the note that we want higher floor, the staff made the check in very uncomfortable and difficult before we got what we paid and asked for"
"An Absolute Paradise – Perfection from Check-In to Check-Out!
My recent 6-night stay at the St. Regis Aruba was nothing short of spectacular. If you are looking for ultimate luxury, flawless hospitality, and a pristine tropical escape, this is it. There was truly nothing negative about the entire experience.
The hotel itself is stunning. It perfectly blends modern elegance with a relaxed island vibe. Every corner of the property is beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and feels incredibly exclusive.
The beach is hands-down one of the best I have ever seen. The sand is pure white, and the water is an amazing, crystal-clear turquoise that looks like a postcard. Spending my days lounging by the beach and the pristine pools was pure bliss.
The culinary team deserves a massive shoutout. Every meal we had was absolutely delicious. From the fresh, gourmet breakfasts to the exquisite dinner options, the quality of the food and the presentation were top-tier.
What truly sets the St. Regis Aruba apart is its excellent customer service. The staff doesn't just meet expectations; they anticipate your every need. The signature butler service was seamless, and every single employee we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect.
Six nights here felt like a dream, and leaving was the hardest part. The combination of great"
