"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

"Highly recommend! Nico is the grandson of the owner and currently running the inn. He was so lovely, kind & helpful. He's been on all the tours himself to be able to make the best recommendations and was so great in helping us get our plans reaaranged after we missed out on a day due to not realizing we needed to pre-purchase a TCT card before our fight to the Galapagos (hopefully this note can help others not make the same mistake!). He walked us around the town, went above & beyond in making gluten free accomodations for breakfast and our daily boxed lunch (so cute), and greeted us with a bottle of cold wine when we got in. I hope this family-run inn continues for a long long time."

"Amazing hotel, great location, especially if you like being near the water and seeing the wildlife, the pontoon near the bar was great for an afternoon chilling. I managed to see frigates, sea lions marine iguanas and much more. Quiet rooms, good breakfast. The bar cocktails were great too, lovely staff. I’ll definitely be back when I come to Galapagos again"
