"Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious (we had the meat and fish skewers). Only stayed one night before our cruise but would definitely stay there again if we were to return (and for longer than one night only)."

"Spotlessly clean. Hairdryer in bathroom comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent. Nice swimming pool. Cab ride into town $2 or a half hour walk."

"Our 10 night stay at family-owned Hotel Mainao was delightful and memorable. We enjoyed its beautiful Barcelona-inspired architecture, striking mosaic tile motifs, clean rooms and an expansive terrace overlooking a quaint, quiet street. Athenea, Amanda and Alex are excellent hosts and gave us their very best attention, while the kitchen staff provided a sumptuous breakfast each morning. We felt at home throughout our stay.
