"Overall, the hotel is ok. The rooms were clean. The food was average. The coffee was bad. The front desk staff were good. The cabanas were good. The pool is good, but closes early. The hotel has no beach. All the activity, including beach, restaurants and shops are in the centre of Santa Maria, about a 20 minute walk. But biggest problem for me was that for every purchase at the restaurant or bar I have to pay each time, with cash or credit card. I would be happy to prepay or pay for the charges...
