The hotel is very nice and the pool is very relaxing and beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was we got the old room with the old furniture and the view to beach was attached with the garbage container. I saw my other friends room and it was a nice room. So I believe is luck. But the people and service is good.

The property didn’t recognize gold status. Didn’t get any benefits. The pool has too limited shade area. To go to beach. It can take a while before they unlock the gate to go in and out. The breakfast buffet has few options. And you can’t leave the table with food to get more as the birds will swoop in. The location is great. On the beach. Close to many restaurants. A mall. And shopping areas. This place could be great to stay if just a few changes.

Tired-looking, but clean & functional. Great pool

Tired-looking older hotel, but well-maintained and fully functional. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffets were decent, but not particularly tasty. The large and clean pool was the best part, especially helpful because the sun gets especially hot here, and you burn easily. The one big issue was the beach scene just beyond the hotel. The hotel itself only provides a few white tent cabanas, which were full when we got there. In front of the hotel cabanas were a bunch of blue cabanas for rent, but they wanted $50k, and seemed to get upset when we declined it. Lots of overly persistent hawkers, selling trips and experiences, who were unwilling to take no for an answer. The beach itself is non-descript with a small cordoned-off swimming area and lots of people swimming. You're better off going to beaches in the Parque Tayrona or further East, where the beaches are spectacular. P.s. if you're planning to visit Parque Tayrona, check carefully if its open. Its closed for maintenance a few weeks a year, which may change from year-to-year.

Great Rodadero hotel On the Beach

This is a fabulous hotel on the beach, in Rodadero, a few few miles, south of the city of Santa Marta. Our room, and it seems all the rooms overlooked the pool, which is in front of the beach. It is a magnificent view of the beach and the ocean and islands and surrounding hills. Every morning you can wake up and walk out to the beach and go swimming, or the pool. The room had good Wi-Fi air conditioning, and a ceiling fan, which I love. The staff was very friendly. Every morning we had a great breakfast to get started on whatever we decided to do. it is a short walk to the restaurants or bars in Rodadero, or a short taxi ride to Santa Marta. There is a bar near the pool. That serves cocktails and or beer and snacks.The hotel is right next to the boats that can take you to Playa Inca, Inca, or playa blanca Perry. We took a taxi out to Bahía playa Concha. That’s a really spectacularly beautiful beach. We ate dinner at the hotel the first night, but I would not recommend the food we had that night. I don’t think you can find a better beach hotel in the area.

Sehr gute Lage, direkt am Meer, gegenüber einen großen Einkaufszentrum, Drogerie, Fitnessstudio (es kann von Hotelgästen gratis benutzt werden) und alles was man braucht. Trotzdem zentrale Lage ist das Hotel sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Die gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Zimmerausblick ist unglaublich, einfach unbezahlbar, jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon mit direktem Blick auf Meer, man kann der schönen Sonnenuntergang in Santa Marta genießen. Preisverhältnis ist ok. Nur das W-LAN ist nicht ganz so optimal in den oberen Etagen aber sonst funktioniert einwandfrei.

A traditional hotel on a beautiful part of the beach. Room is spacious and comfortable. Service is friendly and prompt. Food and service in restaurant is very good - excellent breakfast buffet.
