The location is excellent surrounded by banana plantations which are situated on the mountain side, the views are beautiful, don’t forget your walking boots there are some excellent walks with breath taking views, we particularly enjoyed walking the Levadas, we would recommend you get the “walk me” app, it will cost £4.99 for the full maps, but well worth it! "Will be a good place when it will be finished. We were living in a construction site where noise was starting at 8am (or earlier) to finish at 8pm. The apartment was nice but not fully functional since AC was not connected. The apartment we had was made for 2 people as the sofa cannot be seriously considered as an extra bed (even for kids). The owner is always there to help."
