"My wife and I had an enjoyable time in Sintra and this place was big part of it. It’s a very nice and cozy room! The location was perfect, right in the middle of the historic center, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and historic places. The room was perfectly clean and the staff were very generous allowing us to check in earlier and they were always helpful by WhatsApp. The only not so pleasant detail is that there were a strong bad smell from the bathroom pipes in the room. Other than that we had a great experience."

"Hotel was upscale with very nice terrace rooms. They offered good dinning choices for breakfast lunch and dinner if you chose to stay on. The are right in the centre of the old town which offers many dinning options on all budgets. The hotel is hard to find as the old town is situated behind barriers which requires a QR code to enter which is supplied by the hotel an hour prior to arrival. But if you blink near the entrance it’s another 20 minute drive to go around again."

You can walk to restaurants and right by the trails (it's still quite a walk) to the National Palace and Moorish Castle. "I felt safe as a solo female traveler in 18C. The street is quite dark so be mindful after dark if that worries you. Sintra is a sleepy town after the tourists leave. The apartment was very clean and accurate to the listing. There was mold in the bathroom but this was mentioned in the reviews prior to booking and it did not bother me much for two days. It is a basement apartment but there is a lovely view from the living area. Check in was smooth and the communication was perfect. Also the location was incredible. Just a minute walk to the restaurants and 5-10 minutes to the castle trails and entrances."

"What a charming hotel! We loved the wine hour hosted at the sister property, just 7 minutes away. The room (and view) were amazing, and the complimentary products on the room were such a nice touch. Breakfast (included) was personal and tailored to your order. A short walk to the main square, where you can easily get the bus or a tuk tuk up to the main attractions. Take the walk down, it’s worth it!! We would come back, 100%!!"
