"The property is strategically located in the heart of downtown Sintra, making all the main attractions easily accessible and very convenient for sightseeing. The room was generally clean, although the property does feel a bit older and had a slightly musky smell. One small suggestion would be to replace the pictures of men displayed in the room with artwork showcasing the beautiful scenery of Sintra, which would create a more fitting atmosphere for guests. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, it would have been helpful if we had been reminded about placing the daily room cleaning sign before heading out for the day. Unfortunately, our room was not cleaned, which was disappointing after returning from a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was fairly standard, and guests arriving later may find that some food options are limited. That said, we really appreciated the team accommodating us by preparing a packed breakfast when we needed to leave early for sightseeing, which was a thoughtful gesture."
