"Great location by Sintra Center. Staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the area and how to get around. Best night sleep I had in Portugal. Only problem with the room was a lack of extra outlets for charging phone. I had to unplug a lamp which isn’t a big deal. "

"The staff were lovely, the hotel has beautiful views, it is peaceful and breakfast is lovely. You need a car unless you plan to relax on resort. There is a Lidl nearby for necessities and it is a 15 minute drive to the beautiful beaches at Guincho and Cascais."

"This was a wonderful, beautiful villa with a view overlooking the historic center of Sintra. We would only stay here on a future visit. The villa is lovely with marble floors throughout and nice decorative touches. Our hostess was so kind and prepared a great breakfast, with lots of fresh fruit, and the best croissants. You can catch the bus, which is very close by, to the Pena palace and walk on to the Moorish castle. The National Palace is in the center of town and is within walking distance. The town is quaint with nice restaurants and shopping. Sintra has a lot to offer."

"Quinta das Murtas is a beautiful property in a perfect location, an easy walk to the historic center of Sintra. The staff were abundantly friendly and helpful. I stayed in a kitchenette suite with my husband and 8 year old twins. We had plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and an adorable outdoor patio. The grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was lovely (though service started fairly late—early risers keep that in mind!). Without a doubt I would stay here again! "
