The property is a gorgeous old palace and within walking distance to a little village in Sintra. We arrived on New Years Day, so could not visit any of the local sites, but the hotel had such fine gardens and architecture, we did not mind. We were a family of four. Our room was on the second floor. Two twin beds and a double sofa bed were excellent for what we needed.
