"Alfama dream apartments were great! Very chill neighbourhood and location was ideal, few places to eat and drink within a 10 min walk and a convenience shop just done the road. We would definitely stay here again"

"The property was very nice but it was really made for a single person or at most two. The sofa was nice, and also served as a sofabed, did not have any linens or comforter which was a bit of a surprise. The wifi was good for the first day and did not work on the second. Nevertheless, it was a good apartment. The area was a little out of the way of the main city but within 10-15 minutes walking of the station. "

"The apartment was noisy, not well kept and pretty dirty. The bathroom is so tiny and we often found roaches in the morning. However, the location is unbeatable."

The Editory Riverside Hotel, an Historic Hotel

"Lovely hotel on top of an active train station (great for getting around, not for very light sleepers). We stayed in a Riverside, balcony room on the first floor and it was worth it. The view from the riverside is lovely, and the balcony made the otherwise pretty small room feel much more spacious. We had drinks and food in the restaurant and it was lovely, with the staff being courteous and friendly. The location is slightly outside of the action, but an easy walk, train or bus to anywhere you could want to go. I would stay again. "

"Place is in great shape, great atmosphere with the flip open windows/doors for added fresh air. AC throughout was needed while we were there, on site laundry was very helpful and location was perfect! Would stay here again and great for a longer term stay! "

Authentic and unique

"Authentic and unique. Stunning former single family home now houses 3 rooms for visitors, as well as incredible Turkish restaurant. After staying in a number of larger hotels, we were happy to have had this neighborhood experience. A few things to note - if you arrive on a Tuesday or Saturday, outside and all around the building is a huge flea market, which we also enjoyed, but you will not be able to be dropped off at the door. Also, there is no elevator, guest rooms are on 2nd floor."

"Our apartment was absolutely amazing and as stunning as the pictures. Perfect with our three year old who called it our 'home-tel,' Our flights were delayed on the way out, I was able to call through to reception who provided us with access to the property after reception hours with really clear instructions. We just loved it so much, will definitely be back."
