"Hotel is 25 min drive to Amboise. The hotel does have restaurant but very limited seating and for dinner , we found that the restaurants in Amboise were great but you do need a car. Hotel is on a manual accounting system so errors did occur on the bill. Management is unwilling to make any adjustments after you leave property so need to check the invoice closely. "

"Very nice hotel in the near of the center. Great room , very clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom ( new ). very warmwelcome by the personnel. Very helpfull. If you stay please stay also for the dinner wich is excellent and not expensive. I would certainly stay there again."

"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. They refused to refund me the value of my stay because it was too late for them to rent out the bug infested room to...

"A beautifully restored country house, surrounded by gardens. We have been very well received by our host, and loved our stay. We also enjoyed our wonderful dinner at the manor, just let them know in advance. Can recommend a quiet country stay here :-)"

"Olivier met us in the rain to grab our bags, made a fire in the salon and chilled our wine. House was lovely and so welcoming. Room was beautiful, perfectly appointed. Wonderful dinner recommendation, and then a fabulous breakfast. Wonderful !"

"What a special spot! We loved everything about our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She shared great insight and history about the property and about the surrounding area. We got great suggestions about highlights for our visit. "We cannot fault our stay. Arrived late but Pascale had rustled up a 3 course meal for us….! Really friendly, beautiful setting, quiet. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast (as you would expect from a pastry chef). You eat at a table with the other guests in our case from Belgium and the Netherlands and much laughter was had alongside several different languages! The photos do not really do it justice Merci Pascale "

"Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. We were shown around the property and guided to our accommodation plus very helpfully booked in for a session in the Spa in the cave which is wonderful. We were also provided with much helpful information about a party which was going on in the courtyard that evening and places where we could go to eat in the evening. A wonderful stay and we hope to return one day for longer! "

"I stayed here because of business. I selected it due to the location. What I found is a gorgeous place with excellent service that I would certainly return to. This is quite a romantic setting. They do have a restaurant, but I did not eat there. The parking is ample and easy to use. "
