"The hotel is in a very good location. The only complaint I had is the air conditioning is not what we're used to. The staff did provide a fan to me which was a big help and helped cool the room at night. We enjoyed our visit."

"Very good hotel close to central station. Check in was easy and check out was easier. The hotel is in really good condition, the only thing is that they cutoff the entrance around midnight and you have to buzz the front desk to get in. It's the same when you are leaving after midnight as well. Overall good hotel with great location."

"A great place to land after a trans-Atlantic flight. The staff was warm and welcoming right away - including with beverages. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The location was perfect - right around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and across from Vondelpark. We found it very walkable and there was easy access to the tram to get further afield. Crucially, as we arrived in a heat wave, the rooms have air conditioning. This was a godsend at 22 degrees above average."

"I loved my stay at Volkshotel! It’s well-connected and just steps from the metro, making it super convenient to get around. The interior is hip and stylish, with lots of personality. The highlight for me was definitely the sauna and jacuzzi — such a great way to unwind. I had hoped to work from the coworking area, but it was often full and a bit tricky to find a seat. Still, overall a fantastic experience and I’d gladly return!"
