"I was at Daku for two nights. As a single traveler, it was very safe and convenient. The staff were amazing. There is snorkeling right across the street which is very convenient. Walking to town takes about 30 minutes and there aren’t sidewalks at points so I might recommend taking a taxi. I had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant on site and all food was excellent. This is a great choice in SavuSavu. Sarita, who ran the place while we were there, was so kind and attentive. The breakfast she made us was fantastic as was a dinner on one evening .( the best meal of our stay in the area) It is located above town, without noise and traffic of but convenient enough for exploring. "Our recent 5 day stay at Namale Resort in Savusavu was absolutely amazing! The staff were all super attentive, professional and friendly the entire week. They went out of their way to make everyone feel important and special. The food was so delicious and the spa massage overlooking the ocean was phenomenal.

"Excellent customer service, reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Town is in walking distance and it’s safe. We were provided shuttle to and from the Inn. If you need peace and quiet getaway than this place is the best for you. We hired a car and drove around labasa and savusavu in a day. The Inn can arrange a car for you. "We looked forward to the colonial style property.It has dated, we didn't mind that , however felt some attention needed to be paid to things like securing powerpoint near the bed better. We loved the water view. Walu fish for dinner was rubbery, maybe a limited menu would ensure good standard of produce. Reception and restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was a very large group of about 25 who arrived after us so our dessert was going to be very delayed, so we skipped dessert....

"Short review: We loved this resort and would book there again.
Detailed Review:
We booked this property for 10 days for our honeymoon. We were set on a tropical overwater bungalow-type property, and this had the best price and accessibility of those options.
Transportation:
Arriving here requires a connecting flight from Nadi or Suva on the smallest commercial plane you've ever been on. However, the flight is quite beautiful and quick and when you land, there is a free shuttle waiting to take you to the resort (and back when you leave). The only on-site transportation is excursions booked through the resort or a bus that costs FJD2.50 each way. Cars are only allowed for the super-nice properties with very steep driveways, I understand.
