"The view to the lake it’s beautiful. The apartment is ok. I found many spiders in the apartment, balcony and hall. There was no dish sponge, hand soap and just a little toilet paper. I wish there was a microwave. I kept bumping my head on the ceiling every time I was going to sit on the sofa. I really liked that there was plenty storage space. I made the reservation for 4 people, but they only left 2 towels and 2 blankets. When I sent an email they delivered everything quickly. I kept bumping...
"Great host that made this trip easy and relaxing. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Outside has walking trails, playground and other various activities. Will return again!!"

"Excellent spa hotel just a few steps from the castle (the closest you can be). Very close to restaurants and shops from the little village. Nice breakfast and beautiful hotel. Only negatives were that my son’s bed wasn’t made despite the reservation clearly saying it was for 3 people. I had to ask twice before they came to set up the bed. Also I wanted to use the spa on the day of check out and they charged me 10 euros per person!! I didn’t even use the spa on the day before because I had to visit the castle."
"This was a wonderful stay for our family. It was very clean and well kept. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nicely done out but the room had an open shower, with a window in the room. Not ideal with 2 teenagers! We used the wellness area while we were there and that was gorgeous. It has 2 steam rooms and a sauna, and a very luxurious place quiet rooms. It rained while we were there so we appreciated the down time. The parking was underground and had to book it in advance. The hotel is very centrally located , with a supermarket and bakery opposite, very close to the bus stop that takes you to Neuschwanstein Castle, and minutes to the town centre."
"We just had an overnight stop here on our way to Austria. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the village and nearby monestry. The view down the valley is fantastic. The room was very clean and the restaurant served a good selection of Bavarian food. Parking was good and the village only a short walk away.
The chimes of the monestry clock every 15minutes might not be to everyone’s liking but certainly adds to the alpine atmosphere."
"This is a great boutique hotel with novel decor and comfortable beds. No service and self check in/out, although there was a young lady there when we checked in using the kiosk. It was good she was there because our credit card would not do touchless payment for the amount of the bill and she was able to use a chip card reader. If she wasn't there, I don't know what we would have done. Better to pay ahead. Info about braakfast was there, but none was actually offered. No one was there until cleaning ladies showed up later.
Fuessen is a nice little town. Great restuarants around and gelato. The castles are of course the reason to visit this part of Bavaria. Hohen Schwangau is kuch better than Neu Schwanstein. They actually tell you a lot about the king and filt. At Neu Schwanstein, the tours are now nothing like they were 8 years ago. It is a rush to cram as many people through as fast as possible and you don't have time to look at anything and they tell you hardly anything. It used to be so good. This hotel should band with others in Fuessen to change that or tourism will go down when people learn how bad it has become. Hotel was great, Schwanfau was great. Schwanstein was awful. This was my third, and last, time to the area. Too bad, it used to be a great romantic place ro visit.
