"This hotel was amazing. I’ve stayed in many high-end hotels around the world, and this one truly impressed me. The décor is beautiful, the room was spacious enough for both my mom and me, and the bathroom—especially the shower—was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options and attentive staff constantly replenishing everything. Honestly, it had everything you could want in a hotel breakfast and it was such a bonus it was included. We stayed on the classic side of the hotel, and everything was well maintained and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Douro River and close to all the main attractions, even for my 70-year-old mom. The staff were incredibly helpful and even gave us a detailed overview of what to see and where to eat. If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-located hotel with great service—this is it! "

"We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our questions about the hotel and the area. The breakfast was also very good and very reasonably priced. My only concern is the room had poor lighting for the vanity area. Otherwise, great place to stay. Location was excellent. Close to one of the main churches and to Rua da Flores, one of the main tourist streets."
