"Our room was clean and modern. It included a mini fridge and microwave, which came in handy as we had leftovers from dinner. The bed was comfortable enough for me, but my husband found it to be a little too firm for his liking. We would’ve liked to try the hot tub but the pool area closes at 9pm, which I thought was a bit early. Oh, and getting out of the parking lot is a bit odd. It’s a one way frontage road, so you must turn right, which takes you to a stop sign; we found it weird that directions told us to turn left at the stop sign. It’s on a curve and has double yellow lines, so be cautious. Overall, we’d likely stay here again."

"Overall it was a very solid place to stay. Comfy beds, clean rooms and clearly they made a real effort to make the best of their hotel. Even though the hotel is on a busy street that doesn’t appear to be in a tight knit neighborhood, it’s actually really close to a lot of cool hip restaurants and central to many destinations. The hot tub is cute but needs some love. The air conditioning unit, which I could manually turn on and off, would cool the room in cycles which didn’t really work well given the comforter was so hot. For two nights the covers were either too hot (when the air conditioner was not active), and just warm enough which I found was disruptive for sleep. Other than someone’s dog barking too early in the morning, rooms were quiet."

"The staff was friendly and helpful with all our enquiries, and the facilities worked for our two day stay in Scotts Valley. The breakfast however was somewhat over marketed and whilst the breakfast service was great, the choice of food and quality was average. It did look like they may have had some maintenance going on, so worth checking status before going"
