Took full advantage of the off season rate. Charming inn. Great location within walking distance to downtown restaurants/entertainment as well as beach and boardwalk. We just parked in the safe/adjacent parking lot and walked everywhere. Our room was spacious and clean with fireplace, king bed, desk, outdoor seating/patio, and modern bathroom. Inn included an espresso/cappucino/latte machine, outdoor fireplace area. Staff was efficiently communicative and friendly. They even offered us an early check-in and check-out at no extra charge. Not sure we can afford the summer rates so we'll be sure to return again in the off season!

Great warm welcoming, very professional, super helpful pointing out points of interest. Also, had a mid-afternoon delicious snack out for us (brownies yum)! Very conveniently located to the downtown area of Santa Cruz. The room was a good size, very clean and quiet. There were cookies available near the 24-hour coffee that was also available. Staff was nice and helpful. They had accidentally over-charged me for parking but immediately corrected the error.

I don’t often review hotels, but when you can’t stop thinking about how COMFY a bed and pillows were - it’s a sign you must! We enjoyed our stay, it’s very clean and nice, and sooo comfortable!! The only downside is that parking is not free, and it’s not even part of the property. Other than that, it was great! And the lobby coffee machine was amazing!

Great stay

I booked a room for one night the same day. I found a great deal on Hotels.com. Check-in was easy, the front desk was so kind, and the room was ready early. The room itself was spacious, very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. After a week of traveling in other budget hotels, I appreciated the good sleep. The hotel was quiet and had a small courtyard area set back from the street. Parking was included in a lot a few steps away from the building, with free coffee and a kitchen to be used off the main lobby. Centrally located between the boardwalk and downtown. I will definitely stay here again for the value and price point. Thank you!

We chose this hotel because it's a 5 min walk to the Catalyst Club in Santa Cruz. We had tickets to a concert there. It was very convention. The Chinese restaurant right across the street was very good. We had breakfast back behind at the Firefly Coffee House which was very good. The room was perfect for our one night stay. Very clean and quiet. Parking was a little tricky so I would suggest checking in during hours if you can. But it was very nice to park in their little lot and then just walk everywhere. We would stay again.

Hidden gem that is ecologically designed beautifully decorated and small. Inner court yard with fire pits and couches make for an open air garden away from tourist areas. Downtown is central to all cool areas. Great whole bean coffee/latte/cocoa/tea bar in inner lounge free. 2:00on fresh backed snacks by coffee. Free Parking is right next door in camera monitored lot ( uncovered) full commercial kitchen available for all guests including huge fridge to store perishable items. Guest dinning area is so cute! Seaglass light fixtures Beach and wood accents. Friendly and attentive reception and greeting crew! the tall ceilings in the king rooms give a grand beach spacious feel to an already big room. The owner’s inspiration for the build and design are so eco friendly and sooo Santa Cruz vibe. Enjoy!

Cozy Place

This place was really nice. Check-in was easy with explaination of everything. There's a shared kitched, an ice machine, coffee machine that grinds fresh coffee beans, quaint patio, ability to rent a bicycle and it's very clean. I will stay here again.
