This was my fourth stay at Puri Gangga and I love this property. When I travel, I do extensive research in advance and I’m always wanting to return to Puri Gangga. The restaurant food is great and convenient. The staff is always exceptional and very kind. I also appreciate Puri Gangga for its peaceful location, away from the Ubud crowds and traffic. There are many places to stay in Bali and while I like exploring new places, the beauty and peaceful service at Puri Gangga is worth returning for.

Everything was almost perfect there! Staff welcoming, gave suggestions of places to go, gave me a charger to use everyday because I was unaware of the outlet difference, cleaned room everyday! I came in to my flower bath ready and a beautifully made bed with happy birthday on it. I loved my private pool villa! Only thing I had an issue with was the WiFi not connecting, and my bed didn’t seem freshly cleaned. The pillows smelled like someone just left and nothing washed, one of the towels had makeup or something on it very visible. The views were amazing! They provided transportation and all! I would book again

We very much enjoyed our stay at Puri Gangga Resort in Ubud! Eventhough it is not far from shops, it is luxury hidden in the hills with beautiful views of tropical forest. We very much liked the way they had decorated the hotel with quality buildings, ancient statues, fountains and antique furniture. We loved the food. We had amazing breakfast and dinners. They even cooked the tenderloins correctly. We had a number of very effective, professional massages. My long term foot injury finally started improving!

Great place and great staff far from the chaos of Ubud, that you can reach in 30 mints. The best place to relax and enjoy nature. You can do yoga class, eat to the restaurant (lovely breakfast) and relax in the swimming pool. All the best places are just around

The property was like being in an Indiana Jones movie set. Tranquill and the infinity pool looking over the jungle is amazing. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Lots of places around area to go and taxi's are very cheap.

High Quality Resort in a Beautiful Location

Exceptional hospitality and attention to detail from the staff made the stay at Puri Gangga Resort a special one. The villas are incredible and the location is perfect for a quiet and high-quality get away. The spa offers a great range of treatments, combined with the free morning yoga class, this say really made us find our zen. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making the trip so memorable!

Excellent stay , fantastic food but the staff makes the big difference. Downsides would be very spotty wifi in 706 ar least. Maybe not the best place for those that fear insects. But hey,, its the jungle !

Room was OK situated in a woodland area but there are a number of insects in the room which is probably what you would expect. Breakfast was nice. Negative was I hardly slept due to a cockerel crowing all night.

Nice hotel above a water temple in the jungle. As you are in the jungle you will encounter some form of wildlife. Every luxury is there but you still feel you are in Bali. The only point was that the airconditioning was not cooling that well. We didn’t mind so did not report it. The hotel staff was fabulous!

I absolutely loved staying here. The property is amazing and so peaceful. It’s 30 min north of Ubud, so it’s much more tranquil and secluded. And the infinity pool, spa, and views are spectacular. But what I loved most about this resort was the staff. Never have I ever felt such incredible hospitality. Everyone learned my name and would greet me “Hello Ms. Sarah” around the property. They would even ask me about the excursions that I booked each day through the hotel. Nanis and Jo in particular was so kind and warm, I loved getting to know them both. If you want to experience authentic Balinese hospitality and stay in a luxurious resort, Pura Gangga is the place to be!

The location of this hotel and the staff are amazing. All the workers were incredibly polite and the hotel is located in the middle of the rainforest, allowing for some amazing views. That being said, the rainforest comes with a lot of bugs and reptiles, who seem to prefer the inside of the resort rather than the outdoors. We found lizards, a dead frog, a wasp and multiple other bugs in our room. And the rooms have a lot of openings that allow them to enter. Some of the rooms are also in desperate need for a renovation. Our original room was an older one - we found a lizard under our pillow and discovered the AC wasn't working on the first night. They switched our room, but when i called the next morning to ask about the floating bkfast we ordered, i was told we had to move back. I was pretty frustrated at that point and thankfully, they called us back to let us know we could stay in the room. Overall, it was a good stay but many of the highlights were overshadowed by the things i mentioned above.
