I gave the overall rating 4 stars only because I believe that the rooms could do with some level of updating, once this is done I believe that the hotel will be a 5 star resort. The staff who clean the rooms are brilliant and I would like to give a special shout out to Muskur, he was the one tasked to clean my room. He was just good and he took very good care of me during my stay. Overall the staff are warm and friendly and they go above and beyond to provide what you need. A massive thank you to the staff in the spa, they were very professional and very good at what they do. The restaurant staff were also great, my only complaint was that someone signed lots of alcoholic drinks on my room account, however the reception staff worked swiftly to remove this but a better system must be put in place to ensure that other guests are being honest as well as to protect other unsuspecting guests and the financial security of the hotel. I had a a wonderful time and I would definitely visit again and recommend it to others. Thank you Holiday Resort.

Great family holiday!

We got to stay in the Oceanview Family Bungalow and had a great time. The bungalow is MASSIVE - so much room, and as good as the resort pool was, having the small private pool was an extra luxury (although the decking around it was in disrepair and needs some work) and much used also. The grounds are beautiful and it was amazing walking along the grass next to the coral beach to the restaurant and bar each day. Restaurant was good, but there was also some amazing restaurants very close by that we got to experience also. Bar staff were heaps of fun and made great (and cheap at happy hour!) cocktails, even venturing into suggestions that weren't on the menu. As with a lot of accom in Bali/Lombok, some of the finer maintenance and cleaning was a bit off, however, having been to Bali once before we kind of expect that in every place, and it did not bother us at all. We arrived late in the day after a rather large travel day and were unfortunately woken very early to an 'event' setup in the park right next to our room with full stage and PA (sounded like they were in our room) with the only notice given a note slipped under our door after we had gone to sleep. However, staff and manager were very apologetic and organised a complimentary transfer out for the end of our stay, and some complimentary treatments for the whole family at their onsite Spa which put us straight back into relax mode. Great spot to stay within the walls and chillout, but also fairly easy to go out exploring.

Just like paradise.....

What a great find in Senggigi Lombok. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are friendly beyond compare. Right on the beach with a huge pool to enjoy. A pool bar with a happy hour between 16 and 1800. The bartender Budi makes a killer x dry martini and is just a very nice man. A credit to the resort. But then everyone we interacted with from the front desk staff to the groundskeepers had a smile and a pleasant "hello good morning/afternoon/evening" during our stay. Our housekeeper Salim kept our room #542 clean and fresh for us and we loved the outdoor (private) bathroom. The only downside is that the hotel is not close to shopping and other restaurants. But if you need to Bluebird Taxis are dependable, numerous, affordable and will take you anywhere you need to go. And don't miss the baby sea turtle nursery on the grounds. Kudos to the resort for helping keep the species thriving.

I had a fantastic experience at the holiday resort in Lombok. The beach bungalow with a private pool exceeded expectations, offering breathtaking views that surpassed its 4-star rating. The staff, especially Syifa, were incredibly accommodating; they went above and beyond to celebrate my daughter's birthday on short notice, decorating the room and providing a complimentary cake. It's worth noting that encountering ants and lizards in most rooms seemed normal for the area. While the food met expectations for a 4-star hotel, the standout feature was the serene ambiance of the resort. Despite the wavy beach making it less suitable for kids. Leaving the holiday resort in Lombok is bittersweet; I'll undoubtedly miss the unparalleled views, exceptional service, and the overall tranquil ambiance. The thoughtfulness of the staff, especially Syifa, and the memorable birthday celebration for my daughter have left a lasting impression. I'm already looking forward to returning and reliving this extraordinary experience again and again.

It is a beautiful resort with its own huge pool and private beach. The beach, however, isn't ideal for swimming as the waves are big. More for surfing. Nevertheless, a nice walk at the beach in the morning is pretty nice. The staff are always friendly and helpful. No elevator but that is fine. They only have 2 story-buildings so not much of a climb. We ordered room service twice and we loved the food. Reasonably priced as well. Cons: The bathroom needs scrubbing! The tiles have dark spots/lines and the glass shower wall looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks! I could see the soap scams! Cleanliness specially in bathrooms is very important to me so this is a huge negative for me. Also, lighting like in most accommodations in Ubud (and I guess in Lombok as well) isn't adequate. They need better/brighter lighting. There were hardly any wall sockets available! You would think they would provide multiple sockets for charging devices specially when their guests are mostly from other countries and would need to charge multiple gadgets like phones, power banks, tablets, laptops etc. But they only have ONE available wall plug for charging. And they also don't provide adapter so if you forget yours, you're in bad luck! Our villa in Ubud last year provided an adapter so we were able to charge our devices.

Worst experience in Lombok and Indonesia!

It’s the worst hotel experience we had in Lombok and in Indonesia and not the cheapest though. A lot of positive comments seem fake. The rooms are not comfortable and not clean at all, everything is rusty in the bathroom, bad smell, all furnitures are very old, with a lot of insects, ants and worms in the wooden furnitures, bed sheets and pilllow covers with a lot of stain, same for the bath towels (looked very old). Besides the doors are not isolated with a lot of space from where lizards and gecko kept on coming in during the night and making noises. We had room 547, there was even a rat coming from a hole in the closet and when we tried to close it with a towel, it started making so much noise, we were not able to sleep the first night, we changed the rooms twice the second night but the same problems (room 306 and 539) a lot of holes in the ceiling, closets, trapdoors, balcony door... The air conditioning not working perfectly. The kettle very dirty and not working. The only good thing about the hotel is the outdoor area the proximity with the beach (not private with a lot of locals and far from the center), the pool not very clean, but the furnitures are good especially at Cabana. The food is not good at all and expensive to compared to other resorts or restaurants nearby, the breakfast was ok but not that good, and the egg stand is not good, the lady not really experienced (We had omelets with a lot of egg shell)! Super schöne Hotelanlage. Die Familien-Suite liegt allerdings auf der anderen Straßenseite, und der Verkehrslärm dringt ins Zimmer. Da würde ich eher die Zimmer am Strand oder mit Meerblick empfehlen. Die Familiensuite selbst ist teilweise etwas abgewetzt, aber super geräumig, recht gute Betten, gut ausgestattet und alle Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Dazu Balkone bzw. Terrassen. Fehlende Handtücher und Seife wurden erst nach dem zweiten Nachhaken gebracht. Das Personal war teils super (v.a. Restaurant), teils durchschnittlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist recht umfangreich, es gibt frisch zubereitete Eier, im Wechsel leckere Pancakes, fluffige Waffeln oder French Toast, mehrere asiatische Gerichte, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst, Brot... Barista-Cappuccino gegen Aufpreis. Lunch/Dinner teils prima, teils ein Desaster (Pizza, Tenderloin). Der Hauptpool ist sehr schön und angenehm warm. Der zweite Pool (für Erwachsene, ruhiger gelegen) sieht auch gut aus. Poolhandtücher sind frei, allerdings zu wenig Liegen für die Menge an Gästen. Bei gutem Wetter sind in der Hochsaison alle Liegen belegt. Das Hotel hat direkten Zugang zum Strand (ohne Liegestühle/Schirme), üblicherweise mit einer kräftigen Brandung, die zum Wellenreiten einlädt. Es gibt diverse Aktivitäten, unter anderem Wellenreiten, ein Tauchzentrum, Sonnenuntergang-Segeln (war bei uns aber nur Motor ohne Segel!) und Spa. Die Massage im Spa war die beste seit Jahren! Unterm Strich gab es verschiedene Defizite, haben uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön angelegt und sauber. Leider hat sich mein Sohn an einer abstehenden Bodenfliese im Babypool so am Knie verletzt, dass er für die verbleibende Zeit den Pool nicht mehr nutzen konnte. Der Hotelmanager Riham war daraufhin sehr bemüht, es wurde ein Arzt gerufen und wir wurden auf Hotelkosten zum Essen eingeladen. Nichts destotrotz dürfen derartige Verletzungsgefahren nicht sein, zumal es wohl laut seinen Aussagen in diesem Pool nicht die erste Verletzung ist. Wir hoffen, dass der Pool schnellstmöglich saniert wird, damit so etwas nicht nochmal passiert. Abgesehen davon hat es uns dort jedoch sehr gut gefallen. Auch das Essen im Restaurant hat gut geschmeckt, die Livemusik am abend war ebenfalls sehr nett.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The rooms were dirty and poorly maintained, with an overall old and neglected feel. The cleanliness was far below acceptable standards, and it was clear that the hotel has not been updated or properly cared for in a long time. The service was also unsatisfactory. The staff were neither friendly nor helpful, and it often felt as if guests were an inconvenience rather than a priority. Issues were not resolved promptly, and there was little effort to make the stay comfortable. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel. For the price paid, I expected at least a clean room and decent service, but unfortunately, neither was provided.

Die Anlage ist gross und gut gepflegt, sicherlicht gibt es immer etwas zu tun, reparieren ersetzen. Da ich selbst aus der Hotelbranche komme sehe ich es vielleicht mit anderen Augen. Da das Wasser sehr kalkhaltig ist würde ich einen anderen Badreiniger verwenden...auch die eine oder andere Silikondichtung erneuern..aber das sind Punkte die sieht vielleicht nur ein Profi Frühstücksbuffet war gut organisiert und präsentiert, grosse Auswahl und geschmacklich gut.

Ok - needs some renovation

A good hotel but it needs some work: a renovation of the rooms & restaurant / bar is badly needed. Little things like menus and sunbed towels were very old. Room lights operating off the bedside table was a bit odd, and I think the breakfast was not very good.
